BD LANDS ("we", "our", "the app") operates the land and property marketplace available at bdlands.com and the BD LANDS mobile app. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. By using BD LANDS you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account & profile: name, mobile number, and (for verified sellers/agents) National ID (NID) information and KYC documents you submit.
- Listings & content: property details, photos, price, location (district/upazila/mouza, and map coordinates if you add them), and chat messages you send inside the app.
- Device & usage: app version, device push token (for notifications), and basic usage events (searches, views) to improve the service.
- Location: only the location you enter for a listing or search. We do not track your background location.
2. How we use your information
- To create your account, publish and rank listings, and connect buyers with sellers/agents.
- To run identity (KYC) and optional document/site verification so the marketplace stays trustworthy.
- To send you notifications you opt into (new leads, chat messages, saved-search alerts). You can turn these off in the app's Notification Settings.
- To prevent fraud, spam and contact-bypass, and to keep deals safe.
3. How we share information
- We never sell your personal data.
- Your phone number stays masked in chat; other users see your name and messages, not your number.
- KYC documents are used only for verification and are stored on private, access-controlled storage — they are not shown publicly.
- We use trusted service providers only to run the app: Google Firebase (push notifications), SMS gateway (OTP/alerts), and payment gateways (bKash / SSLCommerz) for paid services. They process data only on our behalf.
- We may disclose information if required by law or to protect users from harm.
4. Data security & retention
NID numbers are encrypted, documents are kept on a private disk behind authenticated access, and data is transmitted over HTTPS. We keep your data while your account is active and as needed for legal, accounting and anti-fraud purposes.
5. Your rights & choices
- View and edit your profile and listings in the app.
- Turn any notification type on/off in Notification Settings.
- Request account and data deletion by emailing [email protected].
6. Children
BD LANDS is intended for users aged 18 and above and is not directed at children.

We may update this policy; material changes will be posted on this page with a new date.

BD LANDS (bdlands.com ও BD LANDS মোবাইল অ্যাপ) একটি জমি ও প্রপার্টির মার্কেটপ্লেস। আমরা কী তথ্য নিই, কেন নিই এবং আপনার অধিকার কী — এই নীতিতে তা ব্যাখ্যা করা হলো। অ্যাপ ব্যবহার করলে আপনি এই নীতিতে সম্মত হচ্ছেন।
১. আমরা যা সংগ্রহ করি
- অ্যাকাউন্ট ও প্রোফাইল: নাম, মোবাইল নম্বর, এবং (ভেরিফায়েড বিক্রেতা/এজেন্টের ক্ষেত্রে) NID ও KYC ডকুমেন্ট।
- লিস্টিং ও কনটেন্ট: প্রপার্টির তথ্য, ছবি, দাম, অবস্থান (জেলা/উপজেলা/মৌজা, ম্যাপ কো-অর্ডিনেট দিলে তা), এবং অ্যাপের ভেতরের চ্যাট মেসেজ।
- ডিভাইস ও ব্যবহার: অ্যাপ ভার্সন, পুশ টোকেন (নোটিফিকেশনের জন্য), সার্চ/ভিউ-এর মতো সাধারণ ব্যবহার-তথ্য।
- লোকেশন: কেবল লিস্টিং বা সার্চে আপনি যে লোকেশন দেন। ব্যাকগ্রাউন্ডে অবস্থান ট্র্যাক করি না।
২. তথ্য যেভাবে ব্যবহার করি
- অ্যাকাউন্ট তৈরি, লিস্টিং প্রকাশ, এবং ক্রেতা-বিক্রেতা/এজেন্ট সংযোগে।
- পরিচয় (KYC) ও ঐচ্ছিক ডকুমেন্ট/সাইট যাচাইয়ে, যাতে মার্কেটপ্লেস বিশ্বস্ত থাকে।
- আপনার অনুমোদিত নোটিফিকেশন পাঠাতে (নতুন লিড, চ্যাট, সেভড-সার্চ)। যেকোনো সময় Notification Settings থেকে বন্ধ করা যায়।
- প্রতারণা, স্প্যাম ও কন্টাক্ট-বাইপাস রোধে এবং ডিল নিরাপদ রাখতে।
৩. তথ্য শেয়ার
- আমরা আপনার ব্যক্তিগত তথ্য কখনো বিক্রি করি না।
- চ্যাটে আপনার ফোন নম্বর মাস্ক থাকে; অন্যরা শুধু নাম ও মেসেজ দেখে, নম্বর নয়।
- KYC ডকুমেন্ট শুধু যাচাইয়ে ব্যবহৃত হয়, প্রাইভেট স্টোরেজে থাকে — প্রকাশ্যে দেখানো হয় না।
- অ্যাপ চালাতে বিশ্বস্ত সেবাদাতা: Google Firebase (পুশ), SMS গেটওয়ে (OTP/অ্যালার্ট), পেমেন্ট গেটওয়ে (bKash/SSLCommerz)। তারা কেবল আমাদের হয়ে তথ্য প্রসেস করে।
- আইনগত প্রয়োজনে বা ব্যবহারকারীর নিরাপত্তার স্বার্থে তথ্য প্রকাশ করা হতে পারে।
৪. নিরাপত্তা ও সংরক্ষণ
NID নম্বর এনক্রিপ্টেড, ডকুমেন্ট প্রাইভেট ডিস্কে অথেনটিকেটেড অ্যাক্সেসের পেছনে, এবং ডেটা HTTPS-এ স্থানান্তরিত হয়। অ্যাকাউন্ট সক্রিয় থাকা পর্যন্ত এবং আইনি/হিসাব/অ্যান্টি-ফ্রড প্রয়োজনে তথ্য রাখা হয়।
৫. আপনার অধিকার
- অ্যাপে প্রোফাইল ও লিস্টিং দেখা ও এডিট করা।
- Notification Settings থেকে যেকোনো নোটিফিকেশন চালু/বন্ধ।
- অ্যাকাউন্ট ও ডেটা মুছতে [email protected]-এ ইমেইল করুন।
৬. শিশু
BD LANDS ১৮ বছর ও তদূর্ধ্ব ব্যবহারকারীদের জন্য; শিশুদের উদ্দেশ্যে নয়।
৭. পরিবর্তন
এই নীতি হালনাগাদ হতে পারে; গুরুত্বপূর্ণ পরিবর্তন নতুন তারিখসহ এই পেজে প্রকাশ করা হবে।
